On St. Nicholas Day, we will open the contemporary section of the exhibition “FREI RAUM – Unveiling the Sky,” a collaboration between the Kunstmuseum Ahrenshoop and the Neues Kunsthaus Ahrenshoop. Following the opening of the historical section of the exhibition that morning at the Kunstmuseum, the afternoon will focus on the present: on women’s life paths, artistic freedom, visibility, and self-determination. A brief curatorial introduction by Henrike Heller and a conversation with the artists Karin Schöpa, Elli Ott, and Annette Hollywood—accompanied by mulled punch and winter treats.
